Peanut Butter Buckeyes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. melted butter or margarine
    2 c. chunky peanut butter
    1 1/2 lb. confectioners sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 pkg. (1 bar) semi-sweet chocolate
    1/3 bar paraffin
Preparation
    Mix well together the first 4 ingredients.
    Roll into balls the size of large marbles.
    Refrigerate overnight.
    Put into freezer a half hour before dipping.
    Melt the chocolate with the paraffin in pan (double boiler).
    Spear each ball with toothpick. Dip into melted chocolate.
    (Only dip far enough to leave a little circle of the peanut butter showing, so they will look like buckeyes.)
    Place on wax paper; cool.
    Store in refrigerator.
