Gran'S Sweet Potato Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sweet potatoes, cooked and mashed
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 stick butter, melted
    8 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 c. flour (all-purpose)
Preparation
    Sift together baking powder, salt and flour; set aside.
    Mix together sweet potatoes, sugar and butter.
    Add to dry ingredients.
    Turn dough out onto a \"heavy floured\" surface and knead 4 or 5 times, adding flour as needed.
    Roll dough to 1/2-inch thickness; cut with a 2-inch biscuit cutter.
    Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
    For all over golden crusts, allow space around each biscuit.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
