Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    1 c. white syrup
    2 c. raw peanuts
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix first 4 ingredients in saucepan (large).
    Cook to 130\u00b0 on candy thermometer.
    Add raw peanuts and cook to 300\u00b0, stirring constantly.
    Add soda and salt.
    Beat a few minutes and pour in buttered pie pans (about 6 pans.)
