Stuffed French Toast - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 slices bread (about 1 1/2-inch thick)
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 eggs
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 lb. beef sausage links
Preparation

Cut pockets into one side of bread.
Cut sausage into pieces and stuff into pockets.
Mix eggs, milk and vanilla until well blended.
Dip bread slices into milk mixture, coating well on both sides.
Heat frying pan, using oil.
Fry bread until lightly browned on both sides.
Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
Serve with maple syrup and butter topping or fruit may be used for toppings.
