Karo Crunch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. popped popcorn
    1 1/3 c. chopped pecans
    2/3 c. slivered almonds
    1 1/3 c. sugar
    1 c. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. Karo syrup
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    Combine popcorn, pecans and almonds on a cookie sheet, mixing well. Combine sugar, butter and syrup in saucepan.
    Bring to a boil over medium heat.
    Boil, stirring occasionally, for 10 to 15 minutes or until it turns caramel color. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
    Pour over popcorn mixture.
    Mix to coat well.
    Cool. Store in airtight container.
