Mike'S Favorite Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. oatmeal
1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 cube margarine
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Preparation

Pour boiling water over oatmeal.
Add margarine; cover and let stand 20 minutes.
Add brown sugar, sugar and eggs; mix well.
Mix dry ingredients together and add to mixture.
Pour into well-greased 9 x 13-inch pan and bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 30 to 35 minutes.
