Broccoli, Southern Style - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium onion, thinly sliced
    1 clove garlic, thinly sliced
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 1/2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 c. chicken broth
    4 anchovy fillets, chopped
    1/2 c. sliced ripe olives
    2 c. shredded process Cheddar cheese
    2 lb. broccoli, cooked and drained
Preparation
    Cook onion and garlic in hot oil in saucepan until onion is soft. Blend in mixture of flour, salt and pepper.
    Heat until bubbly. Add chicken broth, stirring constantly.
    Bring to a boil and cook for 1 to 2 minutes or until sauce thickens.
    Blend in anchovies, olives and cheese.
    Pour sauce over hot broccoli. Makes 6 servings.
