Sour Cream Macaroni Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. macaroni (uncooked)
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. garlic salt
    1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
    12 oz. cottage cheese
    8 oz. sour cream
    2 to 3 c. grated cheese (sharp Cheddar)
Preparation
    Cook
    macaroni; drain.
    Stir in cottage cheese and sour cream; set
    aside.
    Brown
    hamburger and onion; drain grease. Stir
    in salt, pepper, garlic salt and tomato sauce.
    Simmer 5 to
    10 minutes.
    Spoon half of mixture into greased casserole dish.
    Top with
    half
    of
    the grated cheese.
    Repeat layers. Bake 30 to 40 minutes.
