Green Tomato Fritters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    1 Tbsp. salad oil
    1/2 c. milk
    1 c. flour
    3/4 tsp. salt
    dash of black pepper
    sliced green tomatoes
Preparation
    Beat eggs.
    Add oil and milk.
    Sift flour and salt; add to milk mixture.
    Beat until smooth.
    Dip sliced green tomatoes into batter; drain off excess.
    Fry in hot oil (375\u00b0) to depth of about 1 inch in skillet for about 4 minutes.
    This makes about 1 cup batter and is good also to use for frying sliced squash or eggplant.
