New Orleans Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    3 c. pecan halves
    1 c. milk
    1/2 c. condensed milk
    3 Tbsp. butter
    touch of salt
    1 Tbsp. white corn syrup
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients in a pot and cook until a ball forms when dropped into a glass of water.
    While cooking, stir constantly. When ball forms, take off stove and stir until it begins to thicken.
    Drop by spoonfuls on waxed paper.
