Chuck Wagon Chow - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. beef shank or round cut, cubed
    2 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 c. chopped onion and 1 clove garlic, minced
    1 green pepper, chopped
    2 c. cooked pinto beans
    1 can whole kernel corn
Preparation
    Sprinkle beef
    with
    chili
    powder,
    salt
    and\tpepper. Brown slowly with
    garlic
    in salad oil in large skillet.
    Add onions and green
    peppers;
    cook
    slowly over low heat 10 minutes.
    Drain beans
    and
    corn;\tadd
    liquid
    to meat mixture; cover.
    Simmer 45\tminutes or until meat is tender.
    Add beans and corn; cover and cook 15 minutes longer or until vegetables are heated through.
