Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (36 oz.) pkg. frozen hash brown potatoes
    2 c. corn flakes, crushed
    3/4 c. butter, melted
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. onion, finely chopped
    1 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 pt. sour cream
Preparation
    Defrost and drain potatoes.
    Combine corn flakes and 1/4 cup butter; set aside.
    Combine remaining 1/2 cup butter, salt, pepper, onion, cheese, soup and sour cream.
    Add potatoes.
    Place in a 9 x 13-inch glass dish.
    Top with corn flake mixture and bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
