Stuffed Green Peppers - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 large green peppers
1 lb. ground beef
2 Tbsp. chopped onion
1 c. cooked rice
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. garlic salt
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
3/4 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
Preparation

Cut thin slice from stem end of pepper.
Remove seeds and membranes; rinse peppers.
Cook peppers in boiling water to cover, for about 5 minutes; drain.
Cook ground beef and onion until beef is browned.
Drain excess fat.
Stir in rice, salt, garlic salt and 1 cup of the tomato sauce; heat until hot.
Stuff peppers with beef mixture.
Stand upright in square baking dish.
Pour remaining sauce over peppers.
Cover and bake for 45 minutes at 350\u00b0. Uncover and bake for 15 minutes longer.
Sprinkle with cheese.
