Joy'S Baked Italian Spaghetti - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium onion, minced (3/4 c.)
    1 lb. ground beef
    3 Tbsp. salad oil
    3 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    1/4 tsp. dried oregano
    1/4 tsp. dried rosemary
    1/4 tsp. dried marjoram
    1/4 tsp. dried basil
    dash of garlic salt
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 c. Burgundy wine
    1/2 lb. spaghetti, broken into 2-inch lengths
    1 c. grated American Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Saute the onion and beef in salad oil in a Dutch oven until brown.
    Add tomato sauce, herbs, sugar, seasonings and wine. Simmer, covered, stirring occasionally, for one hour.
    Meanwhile, cook spaghetti as directed on package and drain.
    Add to sauce with 1/2 cup of grated cheese.
    Turn into a 3-quart casserole and sprinkle top with the other 1/2 cup of cheese.
    You may use a full cup of cheese for topping if you like.
    Bake, covered, for 45 minutes in a 325\u00b0 oven.
    Then uncover and bake an additional 30 minutes.
    Total baking time is one hour and 15 minutes.
    Serves six.
