Easy Company Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
    2 eggs
    1 c. packed brown sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/3 c. all-purpose flour
    1/8 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. finely chopped nuts
    confectioners sugar
Preparation
    Coat the bottom of an 8-inch square baking pan with melted butter.
    In a mixing bowl, beat eggs.
    Gradually beat in brown sugar and vanilla just until combined.
    Combine flour and baking soda; stir into the egg mixture.
    Fold in nuts.
    Pour batter evenly over butter.
    Do not stir.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes or until bars test done with a wooden pick.
    Cool slightly; dust with confectioners sugar and cut.
    Cool completely.
    Yield:
    1 1/2 dozen.
