Ingredients

8 pt. jars
3 c. sugar
3 c. water
3 c. vinegar
3 cinnamon sticks
1 1/2 tsp. cloves
Preparation

Cook beets until tender.
Peel and cut into quarters or smaller.
Mix all ingredients to dissolved sugar.
Put in cut beets and bring to boil.
Put your jars, lids and rings in pan and get hot.
Add hot beets and be sure to wipe rims so the lids will seal.
