Ingredients

2 c. chopped dates
2 eggs
2 c. sugar
2 sticks butter
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. nuts
6 c. Rice Krispies
coconut
Preparation

In heavy saucepan, cook over low heat for 10 minutes the butter, dates, sugar, eggs and vanilla.
Let cool.
Put into large bowl the nuts and Rice Krispies.
Pour cooked sauce over and mix, forming the balls.
Roll in coconut.
