Hard Candy (Cinnamon)(Cinnamon Flavoring Red Coloring) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 3/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. flavoring
powdered sugar
Preparation

Mix first three ingredients in a large saucepan. Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves.
Boil without stirring until drops of syrup form hard brittle threads in cold water.
Remove from heat.
After boiling has ceased, stir in flavoring and coloring.
Pour into lightly buttered cookie sheet.
Cool.
Break into pieces.
Put into bag and shake with the powdered sugar.
