Granny'S Homemade Kraut - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    several large heads cabbage
Preparation
    Chop cabbage fine using sharp knife.
    Take stone jar, layer cabbage, layer salt, alternating until jar is almost full.
    Press down with a plate.
    Weight plate down with a rock and cover with cloth.
    Let it set until fermented, about 2 weeks.
