Ingredients

1/4 c. dried apricots
1 c. plain dates (not sugar rolled)
1/4 c. water
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. mixed nuts (Brazil nuts, roasted peanuts)
Preparation

Wash the apricots well in warm water, then chop.
Put into a saucepan with the dates and water.
Heat gently for 15 minutes or until soft; remove any pits.
Place in a blender or food processor along with the raisins and nuts and whiz to a puree.
Press the mixture into a lightly greased cake pan, making it about 1/2-inch deep.
Chill, then cut into 24 squares.
