Butter Sponge Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    11 beaten egg yolks
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. milk, scalded
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. melted butter or oleo
Preparation
    Beat egg yolks, add sugar.
    Add cooled milk and vanilla.
    Add sifted dry ingredients. Fold in the butter. Bake at 350\u00b0 oven for 30 to 40 minutes.
    Bake in a 9 x 13-inch loaf pan.
    Freezes well and needs no frosting.
