Cucumber Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 European cucumbers, thinly sliced
white vinegar
water
sugar
salt
watercress
Preparation

Sprinkle sliced cucumbers with salt.
Cover with parchment paper or foil and place weights on top.
Let stand at room temperature for 1 hour.
Drain liquid from cucumbers; measure and set aside.
Measure white vinegar and water so that, combined in equal parts, you will have the same amount from cucumbers.
Mix 3 liquids and add sugar (1 1/2 tablespoons sugar for each cup of liquid).
Adjust dressing to suit your taste and pour over cucumbers.
Garnish with watercress.
Serves 6.
