Steak Fingers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. boneless round steak
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. milk
    vegetable oil
Preparation
    Trim excess fat off of steak. Pound steak to 1/8-inch thickness, using a meat mallet. Cut into 4 x 1-inch strips. Combine flour, salt and pepper. Combine egg and milk; beat well. Dredge steak strips in flour mixture. Dip strips in egg mixture and dredge again in flour mixture. Heat about 2-inches of oil in a large skillet to 375\u00b0. Fry steak fingers in hot oil until browned. Drain on paper towels. Serve immediately. Yields 4 servings.
