Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 unbaked pie shell
    1/4 c. butter, room temperature
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. dark corn syrup
    1/4 tsp. salt
    4 eggs, room temperature
    1 to 2 c. pecan halves
Preparation
    Cream butter to soften.
    Add sugar, gradually, and cream until fluffy.
    Add syrup and salt.
    Beat well.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating thoroughly after each is stirred in.
    Fold in pecans. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Lower to 325\u00b0 and bake 40 minutes. Cool before serving.
