The Dream Loaf - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 stick (4 Tbsp.) unsalted butter
1 medium red bell pepper, finely chopped (1 c.)
1/4 c. sliced green onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 eggs, beaten
4 oz. Monterey Jack cheese, grated (1 c.)
5 slices thick-cut bacon, halved crosswise
1 1/4 c. finely chopped onions
1 Tbsp. soy sauce
1/2 lb. ground pork
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. ground veal
1/2 c. ketchup
3/4 c. saltine cracker crumbs
1/3 c. canned beef broth
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp. hot pepper sauce
Preparation

In large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
When it foams, add the onion, bell pepper, green onion and garlic.
Cover and cook for 5 minutes.
Uncover and cook, stirring often, for another 4 to 5 minutes or until vegetables are lightly
browned. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature.
Position a rack in the middle of oven and preheat to 350\u00b0.
