Layered Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 medium head lettuce
1 1/2 c. chopped celery
1 pkg. green onions, chopped
6 oz. can sliced water chestnuts, drained
2 c. white chicken, chopped and sauteed until done
1 pkg. frozen English peas, rinsed
2 c. mayonnaise
2 Tbsp. sugar
grated Parmesan cheese (enough to sprinkle on top)
bacon bits
2 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
Preparation

Layer salad beginning with lettuce, adding in order: celery, onions, water chestnuts, chicken and English peas.
Mix sugar and mayonnaise for top layer or sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Can refrigerate overnight.
Add bacon bits and sliced eggs before serving.
