Congar Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. brown sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    3 eggs
    1 pkg. chocolate chips
    2 3/4 c. flour
    2/3 c. shortening, melted
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Pour melted shortening over sugar.
    Add eggs; sift dry ingredients and mix well.
    Add chocolate chips and vanilla. Pour into greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or when toothpick comes out clean.
