Ida'S Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 to 2 1/2 lb. beef, cut into cubes
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 small onion, chopped
    1/4 c. chopped celery
    1/4 c. chopped carrots
    2 to 3 c. beef stock
    1 tsp. dried oregano
    1 tsp. cumin
    2 bay leaves, crushed
    1/3 c. tomato paste
    1 to 2 red peppers
    salt to taste
    3 Tbsp. oil
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 Tbsp. chili powder and 2 c. beans
Preparation
    Brown beef in a large skillet with oil.
    Remove.
    Lightly brown onion, celery, carrots and garlic.
    Add oregano, cumin, bay leaves, flour, tomato paste and chili powder.
    Cook about 2 minutes.
    Add beef and stock.
    Bring to boil.
    Reduce heat to a simmer and add red pepper and salt to taste.
    Cook until beef is tender.
