Holiday Egg Nog - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    dash of salt
    8 c. whole or 2% milk
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    16 to 20 oz. 7-Up
Preparation
    In a large bowl, beat eggs at high speed on electric mixer. Gradually pour in sugar and salt.
    Beat three or four minutes. Pour into gallon pitcher and add milk, vanilla and nutmeg.
    Using a wire whisk, stir well.
    Add 7-Up and stir.
    Then chill for at least an hour to let the flavor mix.
