Moist Banana Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. cake flour
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
    2 large eggs
    2/3 c. shortening
    1/3 c. buttermilk
    3 mashed bananas
    1 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. walnuts
Preparation
    Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder, soda and salt.
    Add shortening, buttermilk and bananas.
    Beat vigorously with spoon for 2 minutes or medium speed for 2 minutes with electric mixer. Add buttermilk and eggs.
    Fold in nuts.
    Bake 30 to 35 minutes for layers, or 45 minutes for oblong pan.
