Maria'S Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. mashed, cooked butternut squash
    3/4 c. butter, melted
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    2 c. bread crumbs
    1 1/2 medium onions, chopped
    1 c. evaporated milk
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 or 2 beaten eggs
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together.
    Pour into a 2-quart casserole. Bake, uncovered, for 40 minutes.
