Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    1/2 to 1 c. sugar (for sprinkling fruit)
Preparation
    Cream together until light and fluffy the butter and first cup of sugar.
    Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt.
    Stir into butter and sugar mixture with 1 cup of milk.
    Beat until smooth.
    Pour fruit over batter and sprinkle with sugar.
    Pour over the top 1 or 2 cups of the fruit juice.
    Use a 13 x 9-inch cake pan.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes.
