Baked Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 medium squash, sliced
    1 medium onion, chopped
    6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
    1/4 c. butter, melted
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 c. cracker or breadcrumbs
    1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Cook squash and onion in small amount of boiling water 5 to 7 minutes or until squash is tender; drain well.
    Place vegetables in electric blender and process until smooth.
    Combine all ingredients; mix well.
    Bake in lightly greased 2-quart casserole at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
    Yield:
    8 servings.
