Buttermilk Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour, sifted
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 pkg. yeast
    1/4 c. warm water
    1 to 2 Tbsp. melted butter or margarine
Preparation
    Sift together dry ingredients and cut in lard.
    Dissolve yeast in the 1/4 cup warm water.
    Add buttermilk.
    Make well in dry mixture and pour liquids in.
    Stir together.
    Knead about 5 minutes.
    Let rise, covered, for 3/4 hour until double.
    Punch down dough and knead 1 minute.
    Shape into 1 1/2-inch balls and place on greased baking sheet, 2-inches apart.
    Cover and let rise 1/2 hour. Brush with melted butter and bake 15 to 20 minutes in preheated oven at 425\u00b0.
