Hot Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. shredded cabbage
    5 slices bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. water
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    In
    mixing
    bowl, sprinkle cabbage with salt. Let stand 1/2 hour at room temperature. Fry bacon until crisp; drain on paper towel
    and crumble.
    Sprinkle over cabbage. In skillet, bring
    to boil
    vinegar,
    water
    sugar and pepper.
    Pour over cabbage. Serve warm.
