Ingredients

2 c. butter
2 c. sugar
2 c. brown sugar
4 eggs, beaten
2 tsp. vanilla
4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
4 c. oatmeal, divided (2 c. blended into powder and 2 c. plain)
Preparation

Cream together butter, sugar and brown sugar.
Add eggs and vanilla.
Mix remaining ingredients and add to creamed mixture. Add 24 ounce bag butterscotch chips and 1 cup chopped nuts.
Place balls of dough on ungreased cookie sheet.
Always put dough on cool cookie sheet.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 6 minutes.
Makes 8 dozen or more.
