Raisin Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sifted self-rising flour
    2 tsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1 c. raisins
    1/2 c. milk
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 3/4 c. boiling water
Preparation
    Sift together the flour and sugar.
    Cut in shortening until mixtures resemble coarse crumbs.
    Add raisins and gradually stir in milk, mixing just until blended.
    Pour into a greased baking dish. Mix brown sugar, butter and boiling water.
    Pour over batter.
    Bake in moderate oven (375\u00b0) for 25 minutes.
