Dark Devil'S Food Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cocoa
1 c. boiling water
1 c. hot coffee
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. flour
1 rounded tsp. baking powder

Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar.
Dissolve cocoa in boiling water. Add baking soda to hot coffee.
Combine flour and baking powder. Add all ingredients to creamed mixture.
After adding flour, beat only until flour disappears (mixture will be thin).
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
