Dodge County Persimmon Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. flour (all-purpose)
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. Dodge County persimmon pulp
    1/4 c. milk
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. melted shortening
Preparation
    Sift together dry ingredients.
    Mix liquid ingredients together and add to dry ingredients.
    Mix well.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour and 10 minutes in covered casserole.
