Savory Shepherd'S Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. green pepper, chopped
    1 can condensed vegetable soup
    1/4 tsp. salt
    dash of thyme (if desired)
    1 c. seasoned mashed potatoes
Preparation
    Brown beef and cook onion and green pepper until tender.
    Stir in soup, salt and thyme.
    Spoon into 1-quart casserole dish. Place potatoes in mounds around edge of casserole.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Makes 4 servings.
