Chicken-Fried Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. boneless round steak
    1/3 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    dash of nutmeg
    1/4 c. milk
    1 beaten egg
    1 1/4 c. dry bread crumbs
    1/3 c. salad oil
Preparation
    Cut meat in serving pieces.
    Mix together flour, nutmeg, salt and pepper.
    Dredge meat in seasoned flour.
    Combine milk and eggs.
    Dip meat in egg and milk mixture and roll in bread crumbs. Brown meat in hot oil approximately 2 1/3 minutes each side for rare, 4 minutes each side for medium and 6 minutes each side for well-done.
    Serves 6.
