Key Lime Pie - cooking recipe

1 baked pastry shell or graham cracker crust
6 egg yolks
2 (14 oz.) cans Dairy Sweet sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp. finely shredded lime peel
1 c. lime juice
whipping cream (optional)
lime slices (optional)
Preparation

Prepare baked pastry shell or graham cracker crust as directed.
In a large mixer bowl, beat egg yolks with electric mixer until thick and lemon colored.
Stir in Dairy Sweet and lime peel.
Gradually add lime juice, beating at medium speed until smooth and fluffy.
Turn beaten mixture into pie shell.
Cover and refrigerate about 4 hours or until firm.
Before serving, top with whipped cream and garnish with lime slices, if desired.
Makes 8 servings.
