Pork Chops In Ginger Ale - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large onions, chopped
    1/4 c. butter, divided
    5 (3/4 to 1 inch thick) pork chops
    2 Tbsp. firmly packed brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. tomato puree or chili sauce
    1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    1 c. ginger ale
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Saute onion in 1/8 cup butter until golden brown.
    Place browned onions in a 2-quart oblong baking dish.
    Brown chops in remaining 1/8 cup butter.
    Place chops on top of onion in baking dish.
    Sprinkle with brown sugar.
    Blend tomato puree with flour in a small bowl; add ginger ale and pour over chops.
    Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    Cook in a preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour or until chops are tender.
