Icebox Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 pkg. dry yeast
1/2 c. sugar
2 c. milk
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
6 to 8 c. plain flour
Preparation

Heat shortening until it melts. Add milk and heat until lukewarm.
Add sugar and yeast, stirring occasionally, until yeast dissolves.
Then add enough flour to make a batter about like cake batter.
Beat until smooth, cover and set in a warm place until doubled in size.
Stir down, add salt, soda, baking powder and enough flour to make a dough.
