Irish Tea Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. sugar
    1/4 lb. butter
    5 eggs
    1 c. sour cream
    2 tsp. baking powder
    3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. raisins (optional)
Preparation
    Cream the sugar and butter.
    Add eggs and sour cream.
    Sift and add flour, baking powder and salt.
    Add vanilla and raisins. Mix together and bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes in regular funnel cake pan.
