Barbecued Black Beans And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. raw long-grain white rice
    2 c. water
    2 (16 oz. each) cans black beans
    1 (14 1/2 oz.) can stewed tomatoes *
    1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chilies
    1 (11 oz.) can vacuum-packed or 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen corn *
    2 Tbsp. barbecue sauce or more to taste
    3/4 tsp. ground cumin or to taste
    freshly ground black pepper to taste
Preparation
    *I used either Italian or Cajun style stewed tomatoes and Green Giant Mexicorn.
