Chocolate Chip Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter, softened
    3/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. packed light brown sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    2 eggs
    2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. (12 oz. pkg.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Mix butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla together until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs and beat well.
    Combine flour, baking soda and salt and gradually add to creamed mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
    Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until very lightly browned.
