Linda'S Fried Green Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 3 green tomatoes, sliced
    1/2 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. cornmeal
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Mix flour and cornmeal. Put in shaker or dish; add salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle on tomatoes and cover both sides well. Put in frying pan on medium heat in cooking oil.
    Cook on each side
    until brown. Brown slowly.
