Barbecued Franks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 medium onion, chopped
    1/2 green pepper, chopped
    1/4 c. chopped celery
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
    3/4 c. catsup
    1/2 c. water
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 1/2 Tbsp. vinegar
    2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
    3/4 tsp. ground mustard
    8 frankfurters
    8 hot dog buns
Preparation
    Saute onion, green pepper and celery in butter in a Dutch oven until tender.
    Add catsup, water, lemon juice, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, sugar and mustard.
    Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Add frankfurters; simmer an additional 5 minutes, or until franks are thoroughly heated. To serve, place in buns and spoon sauce on top.
    Yields 8 servings.
