Pavlova Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 egg whites (jumbo)
    1 c. very fine sugar
    1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 tsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Lightly dampen grease-proof paper or aluminum foil cut in a 9-inch circumference. Beat egg whites until stiff and frothy. Gradually add sugar and beat until thick. Fold in sifted cornstarch and lemon juice. Spread into volcano shape on grease-proof paper. Bake in slow oven, 250\u00b0, for
    2 hours. Turn oven off and leave in oven until cool. Decorate with whipped cream, strawberries, kiwi fruit, bananas.
